Wayman Education is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Hereford. The successful candidate will help pupils develop a deeper understanding of the natural environment global communities and the challenges facing the modern world.

• Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 teaching where appropriate.

• Plan lessons covering physical Geography human Geography and environmental issues.

• Develop pupils geographical enquiry map-reading and data analysis skills.

• Prepare pupils for GCSE assessments and monitor progress.

• Use a range of teaching strategies to support different learning needs and abilities.

• Holds QTS and has a relevant Geography specialism.

• Has strong subject knowledge and effective lesson-planning skills.

• Can make geographical topics accessible relevant and engaging.

• Demonstrates positive classroom management and a commitment to pupil progress.

• Works effectively as part of a collaborative department.

Competitive daily rate of 160250 dependent on qualifications and experience.
