Key Responsibilities

• Plan manage and supportPhase I and Phase II geoenvironmental ground investigations with senior guidance as required including preparation of factual and interpretive reports.
• Undertakeonsite investigationsusing a range of intrusive techniques.
• Completeenvironmental monitoring visitsand produce associated reports.
• Conductincident response visitsand documentation.
• Performsoil loggingin accordance with current UK standards and prepare laboratory schedules.

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc inGeology Environmental Science or a related discipline (MSc desirable).
• Working towardsChartered statuswith a relevant professional body.
• Typically15 years experiencein geoenvironmental or geotechnical work.
• Strong understanding ofgeology ground investigation practices contaminated land and geotechnics.
• Basic awareness ofplanning legislation.
• Ability to completefactual and interpretive assessmentsto a competent level.
• Experience working within amultidisciplinary consultancy environment.
• Proven ability to manage time resources and budgets effectively.
• Full UK driving licence.
