A fantastic opportunity for an experienced General Manager to lead a well-established manufacturing site in North Yorkshire. As the number one on-site leader youll oversee all operational financial and strategic aspects of the business reporting directly to the Group. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations ensuring efficiency safety and quality
- Drive production improvements for bespoke machinery manufacturing
- Optimise processes structures and workflows to enhance performance
- Implement product management systems and documentation
- Manage HR functions including organisational structure salary levels and health & safety
- Lead R&D projects and innovation initiatives
- Control budgets ensuring financial targets are met
- Take full P&L responsibility driving profitability and growth
What Were Looking For:
- Senior management experience in advanced bespoke manufacturing and/or standard equipment manufacture
- Engineering background with expertise in mechanical and control applications a big advantage
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills to navigate challenges
- Proven track record of business growth and performance improvements
- Commercial acumen with experience managing P&L and financials
