Job Summary
Are you an experienced operations manager looking for your next challenge
Were looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead a busy recycling and waste operation overseeing transfer station activities skip hire and metal recycling while driving safety efficiency and commercial performance.
The Role
- Lead day-to-day recycling and waste operations
- Manage operational teams and site performance
- Drive health safety and environmental compliance
- Improve productivity profitability and recycling rates
- Build strong relationships with customers suppliers and regulators
About You
Youll have:
- Experience in waste management recycling scrap metal or a similar operational environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Knowledge of UK environmental and health & safety regulations
- IOSH/NEBOSH (preferred)
- A proactive commercially focused approach
