This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced fitness leisure hospitality retail or customer service manager to take ownership of a new site from the outset and help build a thriving club high-performing team and fantastic member community.

As Gym Manager youll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation and performance of the club.

Youll be a hands-on leader responsible for team management membership sales member experience retention and commercial performance while ensuring the club is clean safe welcoming and operating to the highest standards.

With this being a brand-new club youll have a genuine opportunity to make your mark building the team driving membership growth establishing strong relationships within the local community and creating a club that members love.

• Taking ownership of the day-to-day operation and performance of the club.

• Recruiting leading coaching and motivating the gym team.

• Driving membership sales lead generation and new member acquisition.

• Managing KPIs and working towards sales membership and financial targets.

• Creating an outstanding member experience and driving retention.

• Building relationships with members local businesses and the wider community.

• Supporting local marketing promotional and business development activity.

• Managing staffing rotas facilities equipment and general club presentation.

• Ensuring high standards of health & safety and operational compliance.

• Monitoring revenue costs and overall commercial performance.

• Identifying opportunities to improve the club and its profitability.

Were looking for a confident and commercially minded manager who enjoys being hands-on and taking ownership.

Youll ideally have:

• Previous management or team leadership experience ideally within fitness leisure hospitality retail or customer service.

• Experience managing and motivating a team.

• A proven track record of achieving sales or commercial targets.

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

• A proactive organised and results-driven approach.

• Experience working with KPIs and business performance.

• The confidence to work independently and take full ownership.

• A genuine passion for health fitness and wellbeing.
