About the role

As General Manager youll have the freedom to make The Cow your own building on what already works while identifying new opportunities to grow the business.

Youll lead from the front developing a great team delivering fantastic guest experiences and creating a pub that people are proud to call their local.

This is a role for someone who enjoys being hands-on commercially focused and always looking for the next opportunity.

Qualifications :

What youll do

• Work with your Business Development Manager and management team to grow sales and profitability.
• Lead motivate and develop your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Build on The Cows strong sporting reputation and grow opportunities across football darts F1 and live events.
• Maximise the potential of the upstairs function space and 30-cover roof terrace.
• Drive awareness and sales of our unique pizza offer.
• Recruit and develop a strong engaged team.
• Champion brand standards and ensure the safety of customers and colleagues.
• Take ownership of your P&L with a strong focus on commercial performance.
• Create a warm welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back.

What youll bring

• Previous experience managing a busy pub hospitality venue retail business or similar fast-paced operation.
• A strong commercial mindset and an eye for opportunities to grow sales.
• Great leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• High standards and attention to detail.
• A passion for creating memorable customer experiences.
• Confidence energy and the ability to make things happen.
• Previous General Manager experience is desirable but were also open to ambitious Assistant Managers ready to take their next step.
• A Personal Licence or the ability to obtain one.
