Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic General Assistant to join our organisation in Birmingham United Kingdom. Working Monday through Friday you will play a vital role in supporting our team by delivering efficient administrative and operational assistance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards across all tasks. - Provide comprehensive administrative support to various departments ensuring smooth day-to-day operations - Manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously maintaining meticulous attention to detail

  • Assist with scheduling correspondence filing and general office management duties - Support the preparation and organisation of materials resources and facilities as required - Liaise professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders demonstrating excellent customer-focused service - Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with organisational procedures and Health & Safety regulations
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by offering flexible support where needed - Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest innovative solutions to enhance efficiency - Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety guidelines and organisational policies - Undertake additional duties as required to support organisational objectives

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in an administrative or general assistant role ideally within a corporate or organisational environment - Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively - Strong written and verbal communication abilities - Demonstrated customer-focused approach with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Flexible can-do attitude with genuine enthusiasm for supporting others - Good working knowledge of Health & Safety practices and procedures - Proficiency in basic IT systems and Microsoft Office applications - Reliable punctual and committed to maintaining high standards
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to work both independently and collaboratively - Desirable: Experience within a specific sector relevant to the role (e.g. education healthcare or corporate services) - Desirable: Familiarity with relevant industry-specific software or systems
