Job Summary

ASAP Start Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:00am4:30pm Temporary

A busy secondary school in Camden is looking for an experienced General Administrator to join its school office.

This would suit someone with previous school administration experience who is confident using school systems dealing with parents and staff and keeping on top of a varied workload. You will need to be organised accurate and comfortable working independently.

The Role
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the school.

  • Maintain accurate pupil records and update the school MIS.

  • Assist with attendance admissions and general office administration.

  • Prepare letters reports and other correspondence.

  • Provide reception support and deal with enquiries from parents and visitors.

  • Maintain spreadsheets trackers and school records.

  • Support meetings and take accurate notes/minutes when required.

  • Handle confidential information appropriately.

What Were Looking For
  • Previous experience working in a school administration role is essential.

  • Confident using a school MIS/database and Microsoft Office particularly Excel.

  • Strong organisation attention to detail and written communication skills.

  • Able to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.

  • Professional and approachable when dealing with parents staff and visitors.

  • Good understanding of confidentiality safeguarding and data protection.

Arbor admissions attendance or SEND experience would be advantageous.
