As a Gas Compressor Technician you will be working directly on the repair overhaul and maintenance of gas compressors. You will play a key role in ensuring that our customers equipment is serviced to the highest standards meeting industry specifications and maintaining operational efficiency
Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Disassembling inspecting and rebuilding gas compressors and their components
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults in a variety of compressor types
- Precision fitting machining and assembly work as required
- Performing dynamic and functional testing on overhauled equipment
- Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with HSE requirements
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Experience in the overhaul and maintenance of gas compressors or similar rotating equipment
- Proficiency in mechanical fitting assembly and fault diagnosis
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude to teamwork
- Awareness of Health Safety and Environmental regulations
