Funds Lawyer

We are currently seeking a Funds Lawyer to work with leading financial institutions.

• Draft and negotiate investment management agreements and related fund documentation across multiple jurisdictions with a focus on private funds in the UK and Middle East region.
• Provide legal support on regulatory inquiries affecting private fund structures and deliver clear practical guidance to internal teams.
• Support lawyers responsible for private fund products ensuring consistent and compliant advice across fund structures strategies and distribution channels.
• Manage and instruct external counsel including reviewing and summarising legal and regulatory advice relating to private equity private credit and other alternative investment strategies for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to contribute to effective legal risk management fund governance and adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Law degree with compliance with all relevant licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in a law firm or in-house role within financial services ideally with exposure to private equity private credit real assets or other alternative investment funds.
• Strong experience drafting and reviewing private fund documentation and commercial agreements including preparing clear summaries and analyses for internal audiences.
• Excellent organisational analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced private funds environment.
• Detail-oriented adaptable and proficient with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
