You will teach French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 helping students develop their speaking listening reading and writing skills.

At KS3 you will establish strong foundations in vocabulary grammar and pronunciation. At KS4 you will prepare students for GCSE developing their ability to communicate accurately and confidently across a range of topics.

The successful teacher will use a mixture of conversation written work listening exercises vocabulary activities and authentic resources to keep lessons varied. Cultural content should also form part of the curriculum helping students understand the wider context of the French language.

You will regularly assess progress and adapt lessons where necessary to support students who need additional help while providing appropriate challenge to more confident linguists.
