An Outstanding Secondary School in Norwich is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented French Teacher to join its highly successful Modern Foreign Languages department from September. The successful candidate will teach French across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students fluency in speaking listening reading and writing.

Students study a broad curriculum covering grammar vocabulary translation skills and cultural topics relating to French-speaking countries. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level French examinations while encouraging them to communicate confidently and apply their language skills in real-world contexts.

You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through language clubs cultural enrichment activities educational visits exchange opportunities and events that promote enthusiasm for languages across the school.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching French at secondary level

• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently

• Strong subject knowledge of French language and culture

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Desirable

• Experience teaching A-Level French

• Ability to teach a second language such as Spanish or German

• Experience contributing to language enrichment activities or exchanges

• A proven track record of strong student outcomes
