The successful candidate will teach French across Key Stage 3 Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 delivering engaging and intellectually stimulating lessons that develop students speaking listening reading and writing skills.

Students study a broad curriculum covering grammar vocabulary translation literature and the culture of French-speaking countries. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level French examinations while encouraging them to communicate confidently think independently and apply their language skills in authentic contexts.

You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through language clubs cultural events educational visits exchange opportunities and enrichment activities that promote a lifelong enthusiasm for language learning.

• Teach French across KS3 KS4 and KS5

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching French at secondary level

• Ability to teach KS3 and KS4 confidently

• Strong subject knowledge of the French language and Francophone culture

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

Desirable

• Experience teaching A-Level French

• Ability to teach a second language such as Spanish

• Experience organising language enrichment activities or overseas visits

• A proven track record of delivering outstanding student outcomes
