A friendly comprehensive school in Leighton Buzzard is seeking a dedicated French Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department from January 2027. The school is looking for a teacher who can inspire students to develop confidence in speaking listening reading and writing French.
Teach French lessons: Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and GCSE with post-16 teaching where appropriate.
Develop language skills: Build students confidence in communication grammar and vocabulary.
Promote cultural understanding: Introduce students to French-speaking countries and cultures.
Prepare examination groups: Support students with GCSE speaking writing reading and listening skills.
Create engaging resources: Use varied activities authentic materials and digital tools.
Support languages enrichment: Contribute to trips clubs and international events.
French specialist: Has excellent spoken and written French.
Qualified teacher: Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised qualification.
