An independent school in Kingston upon Thames is seeking a talented and enthusiastic French Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages Department. The school is looking for a teacher who can develop students communication skills encourage cultural curiosity and make language learning enjoyable and rewarding.

• Teaching French across KS3 and KS4 including GCSE

• Location: Kingston upon Thames

• Salary: MPS1UPS3

• Contract: Full-time permanent

You will deliver well-planned French lessons that develop students speaking listening reading and writing skills. Across KS3 you will build strong foundations in vocabulary pronunciation and grammar helping pupils become increasingly confident when communicating in French.

At KS4 you will prepare students for GCSE assessments developing their ability to understand spoken and written French produce accurate written responses and communicate effectively in different contexts.

Lessons should incorporate interactive activities structured conversation practice and relevant cultural material. You will assess progress regularly provide clear feedback and adapt your teaching to meet the needs of students with different levels of confidence and ability.

Salary

The salary will be paid to scale on MPS/UPS depending on experience and qualifications.
