Job Summary
A high-achieving school in Middlesbrough is seeking an enthusiastic and committed French Teacher to join its Modern Foreign Languages department on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students and contribute to a strong and ambitious academic environment.
The successful French Teacher will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5 helping students develop their confidence fluency and understanding of the French language and culture.
You will be expected to create a positive learning environment maintain high expectations and support students of different abilities to make strong academic progress. The role would suit an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT looking to develop their career within a supportive department.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge in French
Experience teaching French within a secondary school
Ability to teach across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to plan engaging and well-structured lessons
A commitment to raising student attainment and achievement
Plan and deliver high-quality French lessons
Teach across KS3 KS4 and KS5
Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback
Prepare students for examinations and further study
Encourage students to develop a genuine interest in languages
Contribute to departmental planning and development
Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning
