A well-established manufacturing business is looking to recruit a French Speaking Customer Service Coordinator to support its busy and fast-paced Customer Service team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative organisation where youll play a key role in managing customer orders from receipt through to delivery while providing outstanding support to French-speaking customers and internal stakeholders.
Based in Sherburn this role is easily commutable from Scarborough Malton and the surrounding areas.
Key responsibilities
- Process and manage customer orders using SAP ensuring all orders are acknowledged within 24 hours.
- Act as the main point of contact for French-speaking customers responding to enquiries and providing regular order updates in both French and English.
- Handle requests to expedite or delay orders working closely with the Production and Planning teams.
- Raise and manage customer complaints working with internal departments to achieve timely resolutions.
- Process credit and debit notes liaising with Finance to resolve account queries.
- Coordinate with Transport to obtain delivery updates and arrange expedited shipments where required.
- Release orders to Planning and Production supporting efficient scheduling and on-time delivery.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to balance customer requirements with production capacity.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Build strong working relationships across the business contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure compliance with company standards ISO requirements and internal procedures.
About you
- Fluent in both French and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in a customer service customer support sales support or order processing role.
- Strong administrative skills and confidence using business systems. SAP experience would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of work accurately.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Working hours and salary
This is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8:15am to 4:40pm and Friday 8:15am to 3:55pm with an unpaid 40-minute lunch break.
The salary is 27800 per annum with the potential for a salary increase within your first 12 months subject to performance.
