Santander is looking for a Data Scientist based out of Milton Keynes and Liverpool.
This role is a 12 month FTC/Secondment.
You will be part of a close-knit team leading key AI and Data Science projects across the fraud space. You will be blending technical and non-technical skills to deliver tangible business benefits across the area.

Solving complex business problems using analytical tools such as SAS SQL Python.
Performing analysis and optimisation on Frauds portfolio of rules/models.
Maintaining in-house fraud models using the latest machine learning/ analytical techniques.
Contributing towards the teams learning ethos by sharing knowledge gained.
Developing analytical projects end to end considering stakeholder and customer needs.
Communicating complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

Professional Experience
Proven experience working with big data to deliver complex analysis (Required)
Experience working within the Fraud domain (Preferred)
Education
BSc or higher in a numerate discipline (Maths Physics Engineering etc) (Required)

Salary Range:
54318.00 - 81478.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills experience qualifications and location.
