Santander Fraud Analytics is looking for a Fraud Data Analyst based out of Milton Keynes.
As a Fraud Analyst in Milton Keynes youll be at the forefront of protecting our customers and the bank from financial crime. Whether youre uncovering suspicious patterns in millions of transactions or building robust data solutions your work will make a real difference every day. Youll join a collaborative team that sits at the heart of our fraud prevention efforts using advanced analytics and SAS programming to detect investigate and prevent fraud. Youll work with a wide range of data sources develop and automate reporting and help shape the strategies that keep our customers secure. No two days are the sameone day you might be building a new fraud detection model the next you could be responding to emerging threats or supporting business assurance processes.

Creating data lead insights into fraud attacks
Supporting Fraud Threat Squad as Fraud Analytics SME
Build Ad-hoc reporting and control reports
Diving into product business cases and identifying ways of product utilisation
Streamlining processes and delivering best possible customer experience

Professional Experience:
A degree in a numerate subject (such as mathematics statistics or a related field) (Required)
A curious and analytical mindset you enjoy investigating data and solving problems (Preferred)
A logical and methodical approach to tasks and decision-making (Preferred)
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with large datasets (Preferred)
Education:
Bachelors Degree ( )
Hard Skills:
Experience using SAS SQL or Python for data anĂ¡lisis (Preferred)
Previous experience working in fraud analytics or financial crime prevention (Preferred)
Experience building or supporting statistical or machine learning models (Preferred)
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS (Preferred)

Salary Range:
35452.00 - 53178.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills experience qualifications and location.
