A highly regarded secondary school in Northampton is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Food Technology Teacher to join its Design and Technology department on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys combining practical learning with strong subject knowledge and wants to inspire students to develop their culinary and design skills.

The successful candidate will teach Food Technology across KS3 KS4 and KS5 where appropriate delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons. You will be expected to create a positive classroom environment where students can develop their confidence creativity and understanding of food preparation nutrition and wider food-related topics.

The school is looking for a Food Technology Teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent teaching qualification

• Has strong knowledge of Food Technology and related practical skills

• Has experience teaching at secondary level

• Can teach confidently across KS3 GCSE and A-Level where appropriate

• Can plan and deliver engaging practical lessons

• Has strong classroom management and communication skills

• Is committed to supporting students of all abilities

• Works effectively as part of a collaborative department
