About the role:

As a Food & Beverage All Rounder within our Hornby Distribution Centre Cafeteria youll play an important role in delivering quality food great coffee and friendly service to our team and visitors. This role combines both Front of House and kitchen responsibilities- from preparing fresh food and a range of beverages to maintaining presentation standards across the café youll help ensure our customers enjoy a positive experience every time they visit.

Youll work Saturday and Sunday 6:00am - 3:00pm with additional shifts available as needed.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a range of food and beverages including barista-style coffee.
  • Provide friendly efficient service and assist customers with orders and menu selections.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately.
  • Support food preparation activities in line with recipes and quality expectations.
  • Receive and put away deliveries rotate stock and replenish café supplies.
  • Maintain clean organised kitchen service and customer areas.
About you:

Youre someone who enjoys a fast-moving environment and takes pride in doing the basics well. You bring a positive attitude a willingness to pitch in wherever needed and a genuine enjoyment in working with people. Ideally youll also bring:

  • Experience in a café hospitality food service or customer-facing environment.
  • Confidence preparing food and beverages or the willingness to learn.
  • An understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Knowledge of dietary requirements and allergens.
  • Experience handling stock or supporting day-to-day café operations.
  • Good communication skills and a team-first approach.
