Job Summary

4-5 month contract position with a local authority
Summary
  • This is a 4-5 month contract position with a local authority focused on delivering high standards in fleet administration and materials procurement. The role is crucial for supporting operational efficiency and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of fleet and procurement activities.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule routine vehicle maintenance ensuring all MOTs servicing and repairs are completed on time.
  • Ensure fleet compliance with all relevant transport legislation and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for vehicle usage driver documentation and compliance paperwork.
  • Act as a key point of contact for drivers providing administrative support for daily operations.
  • Monitor and report on fleet-related costs including fuel maintenance insurance and repairs.
  • Produce regular fleet trackers and driver performance reports for management review.
  • Liaise with vehicle providers maintenance contractors and suppliers to obtain quotations and manage service delivery.
Essential Experience Required
  • Previous experience in fleet administration logistics or procurement support role.
  • Experience managing records compliance documentation and administrative processes.
Essential Qualifications Required
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance scheduling and fleet compliance requirements.

  • Working hours: 35 hours per week.
  • Location: 1 Catford Road Catford London Greater London SE6 4RU United Kingdom.
  • We work on a bi-weekly schedule.
