Financial Services Regulatory Lawyer

We are currently seeking Financial Services Regulatory Lawyers to work with a variety of Axiom clients across banking fintech payments asset management insurance investment and wider regulated financial-services sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Provide practical business-focused legal advice on financial-services regulatory matters including FCA and PRA requirements conduct governance risk product and business-as-usual issues.
• Support regulatory change projects product launches financial promotions customer documentation outsourcing operational resilience and wider compliance initiatives.
• Draft review and advise on a broad range of regulatory and commercial materials including policies procedures customer terms governance documents product documentation and regulatory submissions.
• Work closely with legal compliance risk product operations commercial and senior business stakeholders to manage regulatory risk and deliver pragmatic solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK or an equivalent qualification with relevant UK financial-services regulatory experience.
• Experience advising on one or more areas of financial-services regulation including banking payments fintech consumer finance asset management insurance investment services or financial crime.
• Experience gained in private practice in-house on secondment or within a regulated business financial institution consultancy or professional-services environment.
• Strong commercial awareness legal judgment drafting stakeholder-management and communication skills with the ability to provide clear pragmatic and business-focused advice.
