We are looking for a capable and experienced Financial Services Administrator to become part of our team in Horsham.
This is a great opportunity for an administrator who already has experience within financial services and is looking for a role where they can become an integral part of a friendly established team.
You will work closely with our advisers helping them manage client cases from start to finish. Your role will involve preparing client documentation dealing with providers and platforms keeping cases moving and making sure everything is completed accurately and efficiently.
Your Day-to-Day Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing client documentation and suitability correspondence for a variety of pension and investment requirements.
- Assisting with pension contributions withdrawals new pension plans and investment business.
- Handling new business submissions and ensuring applications are completed correctly before being sent to providers.
- Communicating with clients pension companies investment platforms and other third parties to obtain information and resolve queries.
- Keeping client files records and internal systems properly maintained.
- Helping advisers prepare for client appointments and completing the necessary follow-up administration afterwards.
- Carrying out appropriate checks to ensure files and documentation meet regulatory and company requirements.
- Keeping track of outstanding business and chasing providers or third parties where required.
- Ensuring cases are progressed promptly and that advisers are kept informed of any outstanding actions.
- Providing general administrative assistance to the wider team when needed.
Experience & Knowledge
To be successful in this position you should have previous experience working in a financial services or financial planning environment.
A good understanding of pensions and investments is important along with experience of producing client-facing documentation.
We would particularly like to hear from candidates who have:
- Experience working within an IFA wealth management or financial planning business.
- A solid understanding of pension and investment administration.
- Previous experience preparing suitability letters or reports.
- An awareness of FCA requirements and the importance of maintaining compliant client files.
- Strong written English and the ability to produce clear accurate documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good time-management skills and the ability to organise your workload effectively.

Required Skills:
Ideally you will have previous experience within an IFA financial planning or wealth management environment together with a good understanding of a broad range of financial products and planning solutions.
