Financial Promotions Compliance Specialist – 3 Month Contract

Salary: 60000 per annum (pro rata 15000 gross for the 3-month contract)

Contract: 3 Months Fixed Term

Work Life Balance: Hybrid up to once per month in office

Were looking for an experienced Financial Promotions Compliance Specialist to join our Regulatory Compliance Team at Staysure Group on an initial 3-month fixed-term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong second-line compliance experience who can hit the ground running providing expert advice challenge and approval across a wide range of marketing and financial promotional materials.

Working closely with our Marketing Partnerships and wider Compliance teams youll play a key role in ensuring our financial promotions meet regulatory requirements while supporting the business to deliver campaigns at pace.

With multiple brands distribution channels and well-known partners including Staysure Avanti Petgevity and PayingTooMuch youll have the opportunity to work across a varied and fast-moving environment.

• Reviewing and approving financial promotions across multiple brands products and distribution channels.

• Providing second-line compliance advice guidance and challenge to Marketing and Partnerships teams.

• Reviewing a broad range of promotional materials including TV radio print websites paid advertising social media emails and customer communications.

• Ensuring promotional content complies with relevant FCA regulations advertising standards internal policies and Consumer Duty requirements.

• Supporting the review of financial promotions relating to our appointed representatives and commercial partners.

• Working collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve compliance concerns and ensure promotions are clear fair and not misleading.

• Delivering timely approvals to support campaign launches and business deadlines.

• Working alongside the wider Regulatory Compliance Team on projects and initiatives where required.

Were looking for someone who has hands-on experience reviewing and signing off financial promotions and is confident working independently from day one.

Youll ideally bring:

• Several years experience in a second-line compliance role within financial services ideally insurance.

• Significant practical experience reviewing and approving financial promotions.

• Strong knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements particularly Consumer Duty ICOBS and relevant advertising standards.

• A good understanding of marketing compliance including data protection and PECR requirements.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify regulatory risks.

• Confidence in challenging influencing and advising stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulatory requirements clearly and practically.

• The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver approvals within tight deadlines.
