Financial Paraplanner
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Financial Paraplanner to join our growing team in Horsham.
Working alongside a team of five Financial Advisers you will provide valuable technical and planning support across a varied client base. You will be involved throughout the advice process from gathering and reviewing client information through to preparing recommendations and ensuring cases are completed to a high standard.
The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working in a busy environment has excellent attention to detail and is comfortable working across a wide range of financial planning matters.
- Supporting our Financial Advisers with the preparation of client recommendations financial plans and supporting documentation.
- Reviewing and interpreting client information including their income expenditure investments pensions assets liabilities and protection arrangements.
- Preparing suitability reports and correspondence relating to areas such as pensions investments trusts and bonds.
- Producing detailed cash-flow forecasts and retirement planning scenarios using financial planning software such as Voyant.
- Researching investment funds financial products and providers to assist advisers in formulating suitable recommendations.
- Helping to assess the most appropriate route for each client case and ensuring the required information is obtained.
- Checking that recommendations and supporting documentation meet regulatory requirements and the firms internal procedures.
- Keeping client information and records accurate and fully up to date across our CRM and financial planning systems.
- Working closely with advisers and colleagues to ensure cases move through the advice process efficiently.
- Providing additional technical and administrative assistance to the advisory team when required.
Ideally you will have previous experience within an IFA financial planning or wealth management environment together with a good understanding of a broad range of financial products and planning solutions.

- 50000 basic salary plus bonus potential.
