As part of theBeautyStockFinanceTeam you will work to help the business through the monthly and yearly reporting cycle ensuring robust financial control along the way

As Financial Controller - Beauty Stock youll:

• Lead and mentor3-4direct reportsby providing clearobjectivesand incentives to ensurehigh levelsof performance and all deliverables are met.
• Lead the preparationreviewand reconciliation of inventory-related financial data including stock valuations provisionswrite-offsand other inventory adjustments.
• Take ownership of inventory-related month-end and year-end close processes ensuring balances areaccuratecompleteand reported in line with agreed timelines and accounting requirements.
• Lead monthly balance sheet review meeting and ensure that HOF and FD are advised of risk and opportunity.
• Review and analyse agedobsoleteand expired stock ensuringappropriate provisionsaremaintainedand key risks trends and opportunities are clearly communicated to management.
• Lead the provision of inventory-related information and supporting documentation for internal and external audits acting as a key point of contact for inventory finance queries.
• Develop and review financial reportinganalysisand dashboards toprovideclear insight into stock performance variancestrendsand key risks.
• Act as a key finance business partner for inventory-related matters providing insight and challenge to support decision-making and protect the accuracy of inventory and the P&L.

What skills and experience do I need for this role

• QualifiedAccountant(CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA)
• Experience in leading and developing Finance teams.
• Analytical skills with the ability to effectively summarise and interpret dataforwide range of stakeholders.
• Proven record of delivering against targetsand process improvement.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to form relationships with key stakeholders.
