Financial Analyst, Operations Finance
Job Summary
Key job responsibilities
- You will use your expertise in the collection analysis and management of quantitative financial data as you create meaningful reports
- You will drive business improvements while recommending cost reductions
- Via root cause analysis you will leverage extensive data to uncover any underlying process or finance related issues
- You will recommend develop and implement policies and programmes that guide our Operations in maintaining (and improving) its competitive position and profitability
- Lead the development of weekly and monthly financial metrics alongside all financial planning forecasting and reporting models:
- You will take care of continuous innovation regarding your area of expertise as you aim to improve your deliverables while making them more readily accessible for everyone
- You will work with data source providers and technology teams ensuring that key financial decision data is accurate automated and delivered in a timely fashion
A day in the life
As an analyst you are a quick thinker: able to manage competing priorities while providing level-headed guidance even during unexpected events.
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field or experience in relevant finance roles
- Speak write and read fluently in English
- Experience in forecasting budgeting variance analysis and interpreting financial results
- Experience using financial models KPIs and data analysis to support business decisions
- Experience in commercial finance business partnering or FP&A
- Experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables macros VBA Power Query)
- Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI Python SQL Tableau)
- Experience in root cause analysis and troubleshooting or problem solving
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities or experience in managing and troublshooting network
- Experience developing solutions and executing plans on complex projects
- Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines or experience in a fast-paced high-tech company
- Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership
- Previous analyst experience in the financial side of manufacturing logistics or distribution centre processes is a nice to have
