Financial Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to support a growing finance function during an exciting period of transformation. The role will support financial reporting analysis budgeting and financial control activities while helping to develop a newly established Group Reporting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Analyse financial performance and provide insight into trends and variances.
• Assist with budgeting forecasting and financial modelling.
• Support month-end processes reconciliations and financial controls.
• Produce management information and KPI reporting.
• Contribute to the development of Group Reporting processes.
• Support finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Build effective relationships with finance and operational stakeholders.

Qualifications :

• ACA ACCA or CIMA qualified part-qualified or studying.
• 2 3 years experience in a commercial finance role.  
• Experience in a Finance Analyst Management Accountant or similar role.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience of financial reporting or financial control.
• Exposure to group reporting consolidation or finance transformation projects.
• Experience with ERP or reporting systems.
• Experience supporting financial consolidations including reconciliations validation and intercompany balance reviews.
• Working knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements.
• Experience using financial consolidation and reporting systems (e.g. Oracle EPBCS FCCS or similar).
• Experience working with ERP systems ideally SAP or equivalent.
