Financial Adviser
Job Summary
Financial Adviser
Battle East Sussex
65k - 75k earnings potential
Established client bank Administration & Paraplanning support
What if your next adviser role came with an established client bank to look after rather than a blank sheet of paper and a huge new-business target to chase
An established IFA practice is looking for an experienced Financial Adviser to take responsibility for an existing portfolio of approx. 150 clients with 28m of assets under advice.
This is first and foremost a client servicing role. Youll inherit established relationships and be responsible for looking after those clients properly: conducting annual reviews providing ongoing advice retaining relationships and identifying additional planning opportunities where they genuinely benefit the client.
There is an expectation that youll write new business but you wont be starting from scratch. Youll have an existing client base to work with and administration and paraplanning support behind you leaving you free to concentrate on advising and developing client relationships.
The package
The current package includes a basic salary with additional earnings through an adviser incentive scheme and annual discretionary profit-share bonus.
Youll also receive:
- 5% employer pension contribution
- Travel expenses between the office and client meetings
- Administration and paraplanning support
- Professional fees and subscriptions paid
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing by one day per year to a maximum of 25 days
Who theyre looking for
Youll already be an experienced Financial Adviser who enjoys the relationship-management side of advice and wants to work with an established portfolio of clients.
Youll need to be comfortable developing business where appropriate but this isnt a role built around cold prospecting or arriving with your own client bank. The priority is looking after existing clients exceptionally well retaining those relationships and developing them over the longer term.
The role is office based in Battle with travel to client meetings as required.
If youre an adviser who would rather inherit meaningful client relationships than spend your time trying to create a client bank from nothing this could be a very interesting next move.
