Finance Shared Service Manager

Lead our Finance Shared Services delivering efficient scalable finance operations and actionable business insight across the organisation. You will oversee the Transactional Finance and Management Accounting teams ensuring strong financial governance consistent processes and continuous improvement.

• Lead and develop the Finance Shared Services building a high-performing team that delivers efficient high-quality and customer-focused services aligned with organisational priorities.

• Oversee management accounting and transactional finance operations ensuring accurate and timely month-end reporting to Group Finance.

• Establish and monitor SLAs KPIs and performance reporting to drive accountability measure service quality and identify opportunities to improve operational performance.

• Standardise and optimise finance processes across the Group embedding consistent efficient ways of working across all entities supported by Shared Services.

• Oversee treasury operations and working capital management including cash flow forecasting liquidity management banking relationships and funding activities to support the financial stability and growth of the business.

• Maintain robust financial controls governance and compliance ensuring adherence to accounting standards company policies and regulatory requirements meeting audit expectations and proactively mitigating financial and operational risks.

• Partner with senior leaders to align shared-service capabilities with business priorities support organisational change and ensure services can scale with evolving business needs.

• Promote a culture of service excellence accountability and collaboration encouraging innovation continuous improvement and professional development across Finance Shared Services.

• Proven senior finance leadership experience including responsibility for leading and developing a medium-sized multidisciplinary team.

• Qualified accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent).

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial reporting tax compliance governance and financial controls.

• Experience leading Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable General Ledger Payroll and Master Data processes within a finance shared services environment.

• Experience establishing governance frameworks and accountability measures using KPIs SLAs scorecards and operational metrics to improve service performance and deliver business objectives.

• Experience in a manufacturing or global organisation would be advantageous but is not essential.

• Excellent analytical problem-solving communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels.

• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with finance systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Medius Cognos or equivalent.

• Occasional travel may be required.
