As one of our graduates you will be able to create your own career path across our locations and gain broad exposure while working alongside expert colleagues and building your knowledge. By the end of the two-year programme you will have the ideal foundations to grow develop and thrive as a finance professional.

About the role

Over the course of two years youll progress through four six-month placements of your own choosing rotating across the entire RWE Group. Throughout the programme youll have the opportunity to take on responsibilities with real impact and youll be able to gain experience in a wide range of areas including:

• Controlling
• Risk Management
• Accounting
• Planning & Reporting
• Investment & Valuation
• Portfolio Management
• Investor Relations
• and many more

Digital technologies including AI-enabled tools are becoming an integral part of how we work at RWE. Throughout the programme you will have opportunities to use these tools responsibly to enhance productivity support decision-making foster innovation and improve ways of working always in line with RWE policies and responsible use principles.

Job requirements and experience

Are you passionate about the energy industry and looking to make an impact with a dynamic fast-growing business Want to gain exposure to many different areas of finance including highly quantitative work Then you could be just the kind of person were looking for! Some relevant experience is useful but not essential. What you must have is:

• A strong degree (BSc MSc or PhD) in Business Management/Administration Economics Mathematics Statistics or a comparable subject area with a focus on Controlling Finance or Accounting.
• Strong analytical skills.
• A collaborative mindset with a curious approach constantly challenging yourself to find new solutions.
• Motivation to take on new challenges whether independently or as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm and drive to build your skillset and pursue development opportunities within a supportive team.
• Flexibility and mobility to travel to multiple locations.
