• c35000 to 40000 per year ( Vehicle Overtime)

Are you a Field Engineer/Technician with an electrical comms or electronics background We are currently recruiting a Field Engineer role to maintain the technology on motorways and trunk roads around the Berkshire Hampshire Surrey areas. You will conduct installation maintenance and fault-finding activities on a variety of roadside electronic equipment within your patch (VMS ANPR MIDAS Roadside telephones etc.).I am happy to speak to individuals coming from backgrounds in traffic signals motorway communication CCTV and RTPI as training will be provided for those coming from outside of the sector. • Previous experience working in an electrical/electronic/telecoms maintenance environment.
• Experience of fault-finding equipment.
• An understanding of power and comms.
• CCTV or ANPR knowledge would be an advantage.
• Current G39 HERS8 NRSWA NHSS8 Qualification (Highly Desirable).
• Full drivers licence.

• Fault response and repair of roadside equipment.
• Carry out routine maintenance visits on all equipment in line with provided schedule.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce fault rates.
• Carry out fault finding to component level.
• Coordinate with the lead engineers to arrange maintenance and inspection schedules.
• Able to undertake night working when required.
