We are seeking a motivated Field Care Supervisor to supportthe safe high-quality delivery of domiciliary care across the Darlington will work closely with the Care Coordinator and care team to ensure care isdelivered in line with individual care plans company standards and CQCexpectations.
This is an office-based role with some field care work requiring strongorganisation communication and the ability to support and develop care staff.
KeyResponsibilities
Carry out service user assessments care plan reviews and risk assessments.
Complete supervisions spot checks and competency assessments for care staff.
Support staff inductions shadow shifts and ongoing training/mentoring.
Ensure accurate documentation including care plans MAR-related observations (where applicable) and daily notes.
Support quality assurance audits and continuous improvement in line with CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs).
Respond to and escalate concerns appropriately including safeguarding and incident reporting.
Liaise professionally with service users families social workers and other professionals.
Support rota/coverage where required including responding to short-notice changes.
Participate in on-call and support out-of-hours decision-making.
EssentialCriteria
Experience in domiciliary care
Strong understanding of CQC standards person-centred care and safeguarding.
Some understanding of completing assessments reviews spot checks and staff supervision.
Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
IT literate
Team Player
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Right to work in the UK.
DesirableCriteria
NVQ/RQF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
Knowledge of MCAconsent and best practice in community care
