A forward-thinking and well-established school in Slough is seeking an experienced ICT Technician to join its technical support team.
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day technical assistance to staff and pupils and will help ensure that classroom technology and school ICT systems operate effectively.
Providing first-line technical support to staff and pupils.
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Supporting laptops computers and classroom devices.
Maintaining interactive screens and AV equipment.
Setting up equipment for new users.
Installing software and system updates.
Supporting user accounts and access issues.
Maintaining printers and peripheral equipment.
Logging and tracking technical issues.
Maintaining ICT equipment records.
Preparing equipment for lessons and school events.
Escalating complex technical issues where required.
Previous experience providing ICT support within a school is essential.
Strong troubleshooting and technical skills.
Experience working with educational ICT systems.
Good understanding of hardware and software.
Patient and professional approach.
Excellent communication skills.
Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
