Family Time Worker

Are you experienced in working with children young people and families Do you have the confidence to build positive relationships manage challenging situations sensitively and support families through difficult times

As a Family Time Worker you will supervise and facilitate Family Time sessions between children and their parents or carers helping to ensure safe meaningful and positive contact. Working closely with Social Workers and Family Support Workers you will observe and record interactions contribute to care planning and support parents to strengthen their relationships with their children.

• Experience of working with children and families in a supportive role
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong observation and recording abilities
• The confidence to manage conflict and set appropriate boundaries
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
