Job Summary
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Childrens Social Worker to join its clients Family Court Advisor team based in Canterbury.
What will your responsibilities be
- Assess and analyse court applications involving child protection and welfare concerns.
- Complete high-quality assessments and case analysis for children and families.
- Undertake direct work with children to ensure their voice is heard throughout proceedings.
- Provide advice and recommendations to courts and Local Authorities regarding safeguarding matters.
- Prepare detailed reports and present oral evidence in court.
- Advocate for the best interests of children within the family justice system.
- Work collaboratively with families legal professionals and partner agencies.
- Negotiate effectively with parents carers and professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
- Manage a high-volume caseload while meeting statutory and court deadlines.
- Maintain accurate case records and utilise IT systems effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have;
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification.
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in childrens social work and safeguarding.
- Strong court work experience.
- Proven ability to complete high-quality assessments and case analysis.
- Experience providing oral evidence in court.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and partnership-working abilities.
- Ability to work independently prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Competent IT and organisational skills.
