The Role

You are a strategicdrivenand experienced Facility Shift Manager with the skills clarity of thought and ambition to turn our vision into reality. Tomonitorall engineering assets at the datacenterby following regulations and guidelines set out inYondrsmaintain andoperatemodel. TomonitorService provider and contractor works and operations by liaising with all parties to ensure any proposed works are delivered in compliance with statutory regulation and in line with the site policy including client rulesprocessesand procedures. The role is a shift pattern based 24/7 and you are expected to provide cover for peers as and when required.

Main Responsibilities

  • Escalate and communicate appropriately incidents to nominated persons in theprocedure
  • Ensure all systems aremonitoredappropriately to ensuretimelyattendance by the 24/7team
  • Assistthe service provider and contractors in Root cause Analysis ofincidents
  • Assistthe service provider with planning requirements relating to Projects and Plannedmaintenance
  • Assistin the Planningof workswhich fall under the remit of shiftwork flows PPM Incident reporting IncidentManagementand attendance
  • Oversight of any planned and unplanned activities
  • To proactively work towards and meet the performanceobjectivesof the service deliveryfor theclient
  • Report on health and safety aspects particular to shiftduties
  • The recording of all maintenance tasks performed complete and incomplete including any necessary reports in reference to repairs and preventativeschedules
  • Provide reports at the end of everyshift
  • Support the Critical service Manager with feedback and suggestions forimprovement
  • Assist with Technical improvement and discussions around all aspects of delivery onsite
  • Strong Safety Mindset with attention to detail (HSE) - PTW Isolation systems & RAMS
  • Ability to perform audits on multiple systems ISO 27000 and 55000
  • To ensure the shift engineers are undertaking work tasks as directed and with suitable H&S awareness/implementation
  • Complete all requiredtraining

Qualifications and Experience

  • Multi-Skilled - Mechanical / Electrical Knowledge of UPS / Generators / Power Distribution
  • HV switching experience and have a current HV trainingcertificate
  • Preferred 17th editionqualified
  • Be qualified as an electrical or mechanical engineer to the currentstandards
  • Havegood communicationskills verbally andwritten
  • Be a team player and understand the commitment to processwithin a criticalenvironment
  • Good Leadership & Management skill
