Facilities Officer | Excellent School Opportunity in Sale

A well-established secondary school in Sale is seeking a reliable and proactive Facilities Officer to join its premises team on a full-time permanent basis with an ASAP start.

Reporting to the Site Manager youll support the day-to-day management of the school site and help deliver an efficient facilities service across the campus.

Key responsibilities include:

• Opening and closing the school buildings when required

• Carrying out routine maintenance repairs and basic decorating

• Responding to maintenance requests from staff across the school

• Assisting with planned preventative maintenance programmes

• Completing regular Health & Safety inspections and compliance checks

• Supporting fire safety legionella asbestos and security procedures

• Supervising contractors and ensuring works are completed safely

• Setting up classrooms halls and outdoor spaces for examinations events and school activities

• Maintaining the presentation of the school buildings and grounds throughout the year
