About the School:

A well-established school in High Wycombe is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee its buildings grounds contractors and operational services.

This role requires someone with strong organisational and practical skills who can ensure the school site remains safe compliant functional and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day facilities operations across the school site.

  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance.

  • Manage external contractors and service providers.

  • Conduct routine building and grounds inspections.

  • Maintain compliance and maintenance records.

  • Coordinate servicing and statutory inspection requirements.

  • Oversee cleaning waste grounds and general site services.

  • Support emergency planning and health and safety procedures.

  • Monitor facilities-related expenditure and prioritise works.

  • Report operational requirements to senior leadership.

Requirements:
  • Previous facilities estates premises or site management experience.

  • Strong knowledge of health and safety.

  • Experience managing contractors.

  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Relevant facilities or maintenance qualifications are desirable.
