Grange Community Primary School is seeking a caring motivated and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and inspiring children in Early Years helping them to develop confidence independence and a lifelong love of learning.
Key Responsibilities:
support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging and creative learning activities in line with the National curriculum
foster a nurturing inclusive and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential
provide support for pupils academic social and emotional development both in and out of the classroom
assist with observations assessments and record-keeping to monitor childrens progress and attainment
promote independence resilience and confidence through high-quality learning experiences
work collaboratively with colleagues parents and carers to meet each childs individual needs
uphold the schools values behaviour expectations and safeguarding policies at all times.
You will:
have a genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and development in Key Stage 1or 2
have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
be a positive team player with the ability to take initiative and adapt when needed
be patient kind and flexible approach to working with children
have a relevant qualification e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
have experience working within a primary school or KS1 setting (advantageous but not essential).
