Job Summary

Our client is currently looking for an Export administrator to work at their Essex office based in Brentwood. The company is well established within freight forwarding and a leader within its sector of work being one of the largest global logistics providers within its sector with growth year on year.

Purpose of the role:

To provide Export administration support to the export team with the companies worldwide export operations. The role is primarily working within container freight exports but as the role is due to growth within the company you must be willing to help out colleagues on the Import team if necessary. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with some knowledge of container freight exports who would like to expand their knowledge within the industry and looking for good promotional prospects.


Duties will include:

The role will be working within the export team who provide a full door to door logistics service for their customers.

Working with customers colleagues and overseas offices to provide export support

Working closely with customers hauliers and 3PL and offering good customer service skills

Liaising with customers and overseas offices

Providing full administration support

Contacting shipping lines/agents to book shipments

Contacting customers and hauliers to arrange collections

Producing export documentation Bills of lading Certificate of origin export customs documents.

Working cross section with office staff and commercial teams to provide seamless end-to-end movement of shipments.

Updating systems in a timely fashion across various internal systems.







Requirements


Experience and skills required :

Some experience of working with container freight exports

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Have good customer service skills

Excellent administration skills with attention to detail.

Able to achieve targets and objectives

Positive and Enthusiastic whilst remaining customer focused at all times.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9/5.30pm


Salary 28/32k depending on experience
