Job Summary
Introduction:
Were a family owned Mexican Restaurant located off of historic Washington Square looking for someone passionate about food for a Expo line cook position.
Must be available Sundays.
Duties:
- Previous experience in a fast paced kitchen or in a similar role preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Adhering to all relevant food safety and sanitary regulations and standards
- Keeping track of ingredient inventory and collaborating with other kitchen and management staff to order resupply
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
Skills & Abilities:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and move 25-50 pounds
- Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting others in their duties
