Experienced Removals & Delivery Driver

SMLX Freight is looking for an experienced Removals & Delivery Driver to support our growing removals and transport operations across London and surrounding areas.

We are looking for someone reliable professional and experienced who takes pride in providing a high standard of service. Frequent work is available with the opportunity to become a regular part of the SMLX team

Previous professional removals and/or delivery experience is essential
Full UK driving licence
Good driving record
Confident and experienced driving commercial vans including Luton-style vehicles
Experience safely loading securing and handling furniture and appliances
Physically capable of carrying out manual handling and lifting duties
Reliable punctual and professional
Good customer service and communication skills

Driving company-provided or approved vehicles for removals and delivery jobs
Loading and unloading furniture boxes appliances and other household or commercial items
Safely securing goods for transport
Checking items against job information before departure
Communicating professionally with customers throughout the job
Reporting any damage delays or issues immediately
Keeping vehicles and equipment clean and presentable
Working alongside other SMLX team members on larger jobs

Frequent work available

Van provided where required
Double pay for work carried out on Bank Holidays
