Job Summary

Experienced Conveyancer/Conveyancing Solicitor

Our client is seeking an experienced Solicitor Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join their growing Chelmsford office. This is an excellent opportunity for a residential property professional with at least 5 years PQE who is passionate about client service business development and building strong relationships with local agents and professionals.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the continued growth of the office managing a residential conveyancing caseload while contributing to business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
  • Providing clear practical advice to clients on a range of residential property matters.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with local agents and professional contacts.
  • Ensuring high standards of legal reporting documentation and client care.
  • Supporting compliance with SRA CQS and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assisting with audits and promoting best practice across the team.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members where appropriate.
  • Collaborating effectively with office-based and remote colleagues.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and data security standards.
  • Keeping management informed of progress developments and any issues arising.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
  • Minimum 5 years PQE with strong residential property experience.
  • Excellent communication client relationship and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of compliance regulatory frameworks and industry best practice.
  • Proactive approach to business development and networking.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and embracing legal technology.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to team success.
