This rolesitsat the heart of local government decision-making requiring asoundunderstanding of political environments and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters withcompleteprofessionalism.
The Cabinet OfficeProvides proactive objective corporate support to directors leaders Cabinet and wider services and uses communication and planning skills for improvement consistency and collaboration across teams and to foster stronger relationships with all stakeholders.
As a key point of contact you will expertly manage correspondence calls and enquiries from a wide range of internal and external stakeholders ensuring efficient communicationand time-management whileprotecting the Councils this role you willanticipatepriorities coordinate diaries prepare briefings and ensure Cabinet Members are fully equipped for meetings events and engagements.
Working closely with the Corporate Office and senior leadership team you will help align political and managerial activities and contribute to role also covers a range of duties including research intopolicy areascomposing responses and develop creative solutions to emerging you thrive on responsibility and want to makeastrongimpact at a senior level welook forwardto hearingfrom you.
