Job Summary
A successful secondary school in the Hampshire area is looking to appoint a committed and detail-oriented Examinations Officer on a full-time permanent basis from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a school where every member of staff plays an important role in supporting student achievement. As Examinations Officer youll take the lead in coordinating all aspects of the examination process ensuring assessments are delivered smoothly securely and in full compliance with national regulations.
Youll manage the schools examinations function from start to finish working collaboratively with staff students parents examination boards and invigilators throughout the academic year.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and submitting examination entries
Organising examination timetables seating plans and candidate information
Leading the recruitment training and deployment of examination invigilators
Ensuring compliance with JCQ regulations and examination board requirements
Coordinating access arrangements with the SEND department
Maintaining secure storage and handling of confidential examination materials
Managing results certification and post-results services
