Associate Events Manager (EMEA Events)
Fully remote (UK) 65000 per annum DOE Contract 3-month initial term extending to 2 years
Our client a top NASDAQ-listed semiconductor company is looking for an experienced Associate Events Manager to join their EMEA Events team. This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in the UK delivering a varied calendar of in-person virtual and hybrid events conferences exhibitions trade shows and customer programmes ranging from intimate executive sessions up to flagship events of 2500 attendees with budgets from a few thousand to seven figures. You will own the detail end to end: event design logistics vendor management budget control on-site execution and post-event analysis.
This is a contract position starting as soon as possible. The initial term runs for 3 months after which the role moves onto rolling 6-month terms and is expected to run for a full 2 years. The successful candidate will be engaged through Elite Talent Hubs UK payments partner.
Contract & Term:
Fully remote within the UK with travel to event locations as required (approximately 10-20%).
3-month initial term starting as soon as possible.
Moves onto rolling 6-month terms thereafter.
The role is expected to run for a full 2 years.

65000 per annum equivalent dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and deliver the EMEA events programme across trade shows exhibitions conferences and virtual events.
Manage the full event lifecycle strategy input messaging design logistics on-site execution and post-event wrap-up.
Source contract and manage vendors venues and third-party suppliers ensuring value compliance and quality.
Own event budgets from planning through reconciliation keeping every project on schedule and within budget.
Coordinate registration and delegate communications using platforms such as Cvent Swoogo and Jifflenow.
Manage facilities audio-visual requirements room layouts stand design and on-site logistics.
Work closely with marketing sales legal procurement finance IT and business unit stakeholders across multiple regions.
Track and evaluate event performance including lead capture and ROI and deliver clear impact wrap-up reports.
Design and run post-event surveys and other measurement tools to improve future programming.
Contribute ideas to the wider events strategy and recommend improvements based on results against objectives.
Skills & Experience:
Around 5 years experience in a fast-paced corporate or B2B events team; technology sector experience is a strong advantage.
Proven track record delivering multiple concurrent events trade shows exhibitions conferences and virtual formats.
Excellent programme project and time management skills with the ability to juggle competing deadlines and last-minute requests.
Strong budgeting negotiation and contract management skills.
Hands-on experience with event registration and meeting platforms (Cvent Swoogo Jifflenow or similar) is required.
Confident with facilities management audio-visual room layouts and event design.
Exceptional written and verbal communication tailored to different audiences and seniority levels.
Strong Excel PowerPoint Word and cloud collaboration tools.
A proactive consultative problem solver who can think and lead on their feet.
Comfortable working remotely within a global multicultural team and able to travel to events as needed (approximately 10-20%).
