Volunteer Opportunity: Asian Influencer Awards & Diwali Collective

Join the team delivering an extraordinary day of culture recognition and entertainment. We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to support the dual showcase of the Asian Influencer Awards and the Diwali Collective on 24th October at Radisson Blu Heathrow London.

This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large-scale event operations high-profile award shows festival curation and guest management.

  • Role Type: Event Operations Support (Unpaid)

Event Schedule Breakdown

  • Diwali Collective: Runs continuously from early morning throughout the entire day and into the late evening.
  • Asian Influencer Awards & Evening Program:
    • 10:00 AM: Guest & Nominee Registration
    • 11:00 AM 2:00 PM: Main Awards Ceremony
    • 2:00 PM 3:00 PM: Lunch Service & Guest Refreshment
    • 3:00 PM 4:00 PM: Influencer & Industry Networking Hour
    • 7:00 PM Onwards: Exclusive DJ Night & Evening Celebration

Available Shifts

  • Morning Shift: Supports vendor arrivals stall installations early Diwali Collective floor operations and morning registration/ceremony support for the Asian Influencer Awards.
  • Evening Shift: Supports continuous Diwali Collective management afternoon coordination and evening festivities including guest guidance and crowd support for the DJ Night.



Requirements
Key Responsibilities

1. Diwali Collective
  • Vendor Check-In & Direction: Welcome exhibitors upon arrival and guide them directly to their designated stall spaces.
  • Stall Setup Assistance: Help vendors set up displays banners and layout structures smoothly ahead of public opening.
  • Floor & Crowd Flow: Monitor aisles assist visitors with event queries and maintain an organized welcoming festival environment throughout the day and evening.
  • Vendor Support: Serve as a dependable operational link between stallholders and the lead event production team.

2. Asian Influencer Awards & Evening Program
  • Registration & Welcome: Manage the 10:00 AM check-in desk issue credentials and ensure a seamless entry for nominees and VIPs.
  • Seating & Ushering: Direct attendees to their reserved seats and tables promptly before the ceremony begins at 11:00 AM.
  • Ceremony & Backstage Logistics: Assist stage managers with category line-ups trophy handoff and guest movement during the presentation.
  • Lunch & Networking Coordination: Assist in guiding attendees between lunch areas and the afternoon networking session.
  • DJ Night & Evening Flow Support: Facilitate smooth guest entry ushering and floor management for the late-evening celebration.
  • Safety & Emergency Readiness: Keep walkways and emergency exits clear stay alert to any immediate attendee needs and report hazards promptly to the security team.
