The Opportunity

Were on the lookout for a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the safe efficient and high-quality delivery of services. You will be responsible for leading a team of cleaners managing schedules maintaining supplies and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Duties

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff.

Actively participate in cleaning tasks to maintain high standards and lead by example.

Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Train and support staff in cleaning procedures equipment use and safety protocols.

Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.

Prepare staff schedules and monitor attendance and performance.

Respond to feedback and resolve service-related issues.

Communication

Maintain clear and respectful communication with team members and management.

Provide regular feedback and guidance to staff to support performance and development.

Handle concerns or conflicts professionally and constructively.

Communicate cleaning standards and expectations effectively to ensure consistency.

Compliance & Safety

Promote a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.

Ensure proper use of PPE and cleaning equipment.

Report hazards accidents and near-misses promptly.

Provide training on manual handling chemical safety and emergency procedures.

Essential:

Supervisory experience leading a cleaning team

Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks or schedules
